About Tax Plus

We are a tax consultancy and business management advisory firm. We recognize that tax is a complex issue which most tax payers in Kenya and all of over the world spend a considerable amount of time trying to understand. We also know that errors in tax returns especially in our country can result in substantial penalties that could be avoided if regulations that govern the administration of tax were correctly understood and apllied.

Manufacturers of zero-rated products are entitled to refunds on VAT charged on goods produced and sold at prices that include VAT. Tax plus Kenya shall prepare, facilitate certification and follow claims for such refunds. Tax Plus also offers capital project and investment advisory services. This entails processing of tax claims due from capital investment expenditures in excess of five million kenya shillings.

Mr. Samson Olendo-Managing Partner

A qualified CPA (K) with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He has a wealth of experience in tax matters having worked at the Kenya Revenue Authority for many years providing tax services to clients. Since joining the private sector, Samson has been actively involved in advocating for changes in tax legislation.

Mr. Richard Ocholla-Partner

A qualified accountant and a menber of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), he is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries (ICPSK) and a holder of Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Nairobi where he specialised in Accounting. He holds a wealth of experience having worked in senior management levels with firms such as Skanska International and Strabag International. Click here for the full team.
